College Park Baptist Church (“we,” “us”) runs www.collegeparkministries.org. This policy explains what information we collect through the website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website, you agree to this policy.
Information you give us
Several pages on our website have forms you can fill out:
- Plan a Visit (“Let Us Know You’re Coming”): first name, last name, email address, and an optional message.
- Ask for a Visit, Request a Book, 5-Week Bible Study sign-up, Prayer requests, and Contact: name, email address, and a message.
- Summer Internship application: name, email address, phone, age, college or seminary, church experience, ministry plans, and any comments.
Form submissions are emailed to our church office at office@collegeparkministries.org. We use this information only to prepare for your visit, reply to you, pray for you, send a requested book, arrange a study or visit, review an internship application, or follow up on a ministry need. Prayer requests are treated with care and shared only with those who will pray or help. If you email us directly, we use your email address and message the same way.
Online giving
Our Online Giving page links to Church Center, a giving service run by Planning Center. Church Center collects and processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. Our website never receives or stores your card or bank details. We receive records of your gifts (name, amount, date, and fund) so we can keep accurate records and send giving statements.
Embedded content
Some pages include YouTube videos, and the Sermons page includes a Podbean audio player. When you play this content, YouTube (Google) and Podbean may set cookies and collect information about your device under their own privacy policies.
Links to other websites
Our website links to other sites, such as our member directory (Instant Church Directory), Church Center, YouTube, and Facebook. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.
Cookies and analytics
Like most websites, our web host keeps basic technical logs, such as IP addresses and browser type, to keep the site running and secure. Our site uses WordPress with Jetpack Stats. These tools may use cookies to keep the site working and to give us anonymous, combined visit statistics, which we use only to improve the website. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
How we use and share information
We use your information only for church ministry and communication. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers named above, as they need it, or when the law requires it. Within the church, only staff and volunteers who need your information to help you can see it.
Children
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information online. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us, though no method of sending data over the internet is completely secure.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or delete the information you have given us at any time.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
