Choir

Our choir is led by Jim Matzko. His wife, Dianne, is the choir pianist. Jim retired from the Federal Government and they moved from Fairfax VA in the Fall of 2007 to help at CPBC. Jim and Dianne have ministered in vocal and instrumental music for over 35 years. Jim has directed the adult choir in 7 different Baptist churches.

The choir sings during the Sunday morning and evening services. The goal is to start an orchestra to provide accompaniment for the congregational singing and to provide additional special music. A special Christmas and Easter program is presented each year.

The choir rehearses on Sundays at 4:15 PM all year.
